Elizabeth received a BA in English from BYU and is a certified instructor of yoga, MBSR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction). Teaching yoga for over ten years has allowed Elizabeth to implement meditation and mindfulness into her daily life of raising five children and now as a business owner.
She has found that when one seeks to become more mindful, a natural byproduct is emotional and physical healing.
Sarah has been fascinated and inspired by health practices and therapies since she was young. When she was twelve, she observed as her mother developed a relationship with yoga and the healing this practice brought both mentally and physically. This and other life experiences planted the seed for her interest in natural healing which has blossomed with her recent deep dive into Ayurveda. She loves the simplicity of Ayurveda, the world’s oldest recorded approach to health, and has developed a special interest in Ayurveda’s ability to address issues involved in pregnancy, including pre-conception and post-partum.
Sarah had the honor of beginning her Ayurvedic journey with Dr. Vasant Lad at The Ayurvedic Institute and has recently returned from India where she continued her studies of Ayurveda. She is currently studying with Amruta Athale, an Ayurvedic Physician in Pune, India in her Ayurvedic Obstetrics and Fertility course.
Sarah is passionate about transforming our cultural perspective on health and healing by bringing back ancient wisdom to our modern world and building confidence in the body’s ability to heal. Building community is important to her and she loves connecting with clients and friends alike through the principles and recommendations that Ayurveda has to offer.
